friends in Silver Dollar City. They were guessing you would be interested in
their upcoming Bluegrass and BBQ festival, featuring Rhonda Vincent and
many, many others, and we guessed they would be right about that. Here’s this

in October, when we’ll play at the city for five days at the National Harvest

show Thursday at the Branson Landing To celebrate the
new Branson airport, Big Smith has been chosen to perform a free concert, open
to the public, in front of the fountains at the Branson Landing. Can’t beat a
deal like that, huh? The two hour concert starts at 8 p.m. Bring
your own chairs, or sit on the provided ledges. Here are more details: Thursday, May 7 Big Smith performs at Branson Landing,

the Branson Airport Grand Opening and Air Show. Free and open to the public.

Joplin, Missouri and free Sunday concert in Norman, Oklahoma Saturday, we
return to our old haunt the Kitchen
Pass in Joplin. We’ll be playing the outdoor patio. Our recent
Joplin shows have been a blast, hearty audiences full of enthusiasm. Oh, and
our buddy Travis Linville
opens, which is always a treat. Come on out! Then Sunday, we
return to Norman, Oklahoma – it’s been a long time – to perform a free show at
the Summer Breeze concert series at Andrews Park. Here are the details for the

prices about to go up! If you haven’t
heard, Big Smtih, Charliehorse
and Blue Mountain (and many, many others) are performing at the Wakarusa
festival in June, relocated from Kansas to the beautiful Mulberry Campground
near Ozark, Arkansas. We thought we would give you a heads-up that advance
tickets are about to go up in price, on May 16, so get them cheap while you
